Re-purposed linen and cotton fabric, polyethylene plastic, steel plate, wood and steel frames. Dimensions variable.
An investigation of the mark making potential of rusting steel in contact with natural fabric and industrial material produced a variety of marks and images. Various strategies for capturing the image were explored. The system was set and the natural process of iron oxidation (a ubiquitous antagonist of human regulation) was allowed to proceed unmanaged.
