Originally from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Chris Lindsay has lived, worked and studied in 5 different Canadian provinces; raising two sons in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
20 years of experience as a Microbiologist helped refine Lindsay’s ability to engage and interpret visual information, grounding in him a profound appreciation for the systems of this cosmos and all that sustains its balance.
Having arrived, later in life, at a commitment to focus on cultivating his personal artistic expression, Lindsay completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Ottawa in 2011 and a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Victoria in 2013. This has resulted in opportunities to exhibit his work in Victoria, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. He is currently employed as an Academic Assistant in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Victoria where he supports student development of fabrication and problem solving skills and instructs courses in multimedia printmaking and sculpture.
